ReplyDeleteI couldn't help looking at this picture and thinking of what its true significance is. When you come to think of what it actually involves it makes us want to stand up and take action. Since I have previously worked with high school students as well as other educational levels, I have come to find that they will continue thinking in life according to the way they are taught. I think that if we all influenced children beginning at an early age with what can happen if action isn't taken they will begin to make a difference. I have found very surprising after conducting a little research, that only about 20% of middle school students are aware of what global warming is and what can happen as a consequence. For this education project, I hope to find a greater percentage of students aware of the issue, but I also hope to influence their future actions towards a better life and taking a stand in this global problem. Our ecological footprint is what marks what changes we can make in the world, I truly believe that it only takes one person to begin making the difference. So to conclude, I would like to send out the message to everyone, “Start Informing Younger Generations for a Better Future."
